Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Paige was once again excited to get back to out room and find another towel friend!

Ashlyn wanted to take it to dinner with us.  Neither of them were very happy when it fell apart!
It was formal night and the kids all looked so cute dressed up!
Paige, once again, hated being told how cute she was by strangers and kept herself planted in my lap!
It made my heart happy to see the kids with pink cheeks and smiling faces at dinner!

The big kids decided it was a great time to order stuff on the menu that they normally wouldn't.  They ordered frog legs one night, duck, and various seafood dishes and desserts they hadn't heard of.
After dinner,  took the little kids to the kids club so we could go out for the night.  The big kids went to the teen clubs and frequented the cafeteria to get ice cream and pizza.  Lauren, Maryn and Abby couldn't get enough of the glass elevator!
When we went back to get the guys, they were pretty worn out from the day in the sun and Jason had gone down to our room because he wasn't feeling well.   We were all dressed up and not ready to call it a night.   There were several photographers set up around the ship that would try to get anyone walking by to take a few pictures on their set.  I think it was Haley that said, "Come on! Let's just do it!".

The photographer posed us in some cheesy poses and then we made up some of our own!

We ended up having such a fun night!   Sometimes, you just need a night out with the girls!

Freeport Bahamas

Our first stop was Freeport, Bahamas.

They had live music and a bunch of little shops for the tourists.
Ashlyn loved the vibe and danced away while we waited for the rest of our group to get off the boat.

Garrett spied "a real coconut" and decided he had to try to climb up and get it.

Victory!!  He found a guy in one of the shops to cut it open for him.

When the rest of our group was ready, we piled into a couple of shuttles to take us to a beach.  We were all hot and sticky and there was no air conditioning.

I don't remember the name of the beach we went to, but the thatch umbrellas and aqua water screamed tropical vacation!  The beach, like the port, was set up for the tourists.    There was a bar and music, over priced beverages, and locals trying to sell hats or purses to souvenir shoppers looking for something "authentic".

The sand was hot, the water was warm and the air just barely warmer!

Everyone was all smiles and barely left the water.

Wes got out long enough to have his hair braided.

When we were all dried out from salt and sun, we packed up and took the shuttle back passed the run down towns and chain linked fences to the boat.
