Ashlyn Turns 3!!

I can't believe my baby is three already!! We've spent the last three years trying to figure out how to make time stand still and keep her just the way she is. With each phase she beings, we can't imagine loving anything else more, but somehow, she keeps getting more fun! A few weeks ago, as Ashlyn and I were headed the the grocery store, I took this picture of her on my phone because it was such a classic Ashlyn moment! She rarely leaves the house with out a purse. Its not always the same purse, she has several, but she loves to put little toys, snacks and lip gloss in them and act like a big girl when it's time to leave the house. If I can't find my keys, they are usually in one of her purses.

She loves to play with her stuffed animals, especially her puppies. In the picture above, she had tied a string around her puppy's neck and was pretending to take it on a walk! So cute!

She also loves to play with her dolls and is often sitting on the couch feeding one of her babies a bottle or telling us to be very quiet because her baby is sleeping.

She says she wants to be "a mom, a animal doctor and a doctor when I get big".

Ashlyn is so fun to buy things so because she gets so excited! She loves to get new clothes. A typical response from her is, "For me?! Oh, thank you!!" while she hops around. It's so fun!

She makes us laugh and brings so much joy into our life.
