8 1/2 Months

We are on the final stretch! (and I mean s-t-r-e-t-c-h!) I can't imagine getting any bigger!!I swore I was going to be patient and just enjoy this last pregnancy, but it is getting really hard to do! I think she broke one of my ribs this last week and it is so sore all the time. If I happen to bend when she stretches or kicks, the pain in my ribs sends me through the roof! I've been pretty good about holding it in and keeping a smile on my face, but secretly I'm checking my pregnancy calendar every day to see how much longer I have to wait to have my body back to myself.

I'm as puffy as a marshmellow! When I take of my socks at night I have a serious indentation around my ankles. So NOT CUTE! My hands are too puffy for my wedding ring, so Jason I bought a temporary replacement on our anniversary. My lips look like I'm having a love affair with collagen and the picture above is the only angle where I don't look like I borrowed my nose from another ethnicity! Even my eye lids are puffy! Ug! I almost didn't post a picture for 8 1/2 months. I thought maybe we could just skip to the after pictures, but I suppose it only has one of my chins (and I didn't have to photoshop!) and I really should keep at least one of my promises with this pregnancy.

Jason says my puffy, pregnant self is beautiful and got mad at me when I told him he is just saying that because he loves me. I pretended to believe him to make him happy, but really?! It's okay, it makes me feel loved and he takes such good care of me so I'll go with it. We'll have to wait and see if I post a 9 month picture...
