On our way home from our California visit for Easter, we stopped in Sacramento and picked up Danale and her two boys, Colton and Carter, and Jason's dad Danny and brought them back to Utah with us to visit. Having two 2 year olds was a little more challenging than we thought it would be! Luckily, there was plenty to do to keep them entertained!
We spent an afternoon at the Dinosaur Museum.
Getting everyone to look at the same time for a picture just wasn't in the cards. Haha!We spent another afternoon at the Thanksgiving Point Farm. The kids loved the pony rides!
They were totally entertained looking at the different animals and commenting on how stinky they were!
I think I could use one of these at my house!
We had a nice picnic outside and let the kids burn off some energy running around for a while.
Jason had to work during the day, but loved playing when he got home in the evening.
Jason's dad enjoyed the peace and quiet at our house while Danale and I took the kids out during the day. I think he took a walk around the neighborhood everyday and was just genuinely happy be there and experience some place new. We took everyone to Cabellas one night. The kids loved seeing all of the stuffed animals.
We topped the night off with ice cream at Thanksgiving Point.
I watched all the kids one day so Jason could take Danale and Danny out riding on the quads and to do some shooting. They had a great time!
