For the last several years, Jason has gone on what he refers to his annual "Mancation" with his buddies from college. No wives, no kids, no work, no responsibilities. Just the guys, their bikes, and good dirt or sand to ride in. The location changes every year, but he always comes home with a smile on his face and great memories to share. It's the perfect trip for him.

Since Jason broke his ankle and the track being under reconstruction last year, he hasn't logged many hours on his motorcycle. He decided he better get a few hours in at the track before trying to hang with the guys. Austin was gone, so Jason brought Wes out to keep him company and be his riding Buddie.
Ashlyn has totally been into Jason's motorcycle lately and wanted to go out to the ranch to watch Daddy ride.
(Yes, I let her dress herself.)
She even convinced Jason to take her for a little ride around the track.
The "Mancation" was in Utah this year at Little Sahara Recreation Area. I have never liked being home when Jason is gone and I have been dying to go spend some time with my little sister in Utah, so we decided to make a road trip out of it. We left the big kids home with grandpa and Travis since they had school and took Ashlyn with us.
I'm sure it sounds crazy, but I love that time alone in the car with my husband. Ashlyn slept and watched movies and was amazingly good on our trip. It gave Jason and I hours to just talk and enjoy each other's company. I'm seriously so in love with that man that I can't even tell you! He makes me so happy and I love the relationship that we have.
We went a day early so we we would have a little bit of time together before his trip. We went down to BYU and hung out with Janelle and Peter.

While he was gone, I had the best time hanging out with Janelle. I slept in and did a little shopping every day! Ashlyn loved playing with her cousins and I loved catching up with all of my family that has moved to Utah over the last couple of years.
Janelle and Peter
Jocelyn and Jen
Lisa and Dave
My mom and Me
Diane and Norman
Sterling and Katie
Grandpa and Grandma
While I was enjoying my family, Jason was playing with these guys and loving every minute of it!
I wish I could get him to blog, but he never feels like he has time and if he did, he probably wouldn't spend it writing anyway... So, the pictures are all you get from his trip. :-)
Here is their camp. (That's Jason in the white jersey.)

Love this picture!
