Something cute and patriotic for the little ones to wear
Water. Preferably a pool or a lake (or both!), but a beach would work too.
Sunshine. By the end of the day, you have to have a little pink on your cheeks.
Watermelon. I don't know why. It's just something you have to have on the 4th of July.
Barbecue. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. Chicken just doesn't feel right for this holiday.
Watching the fireworks from a big blanket on the ground. Preferably with lots of friends and family.
A picture of a cute baby just because.
Pictures of the pink cheeks earned earlier in the day because it keeps us busy while we wait for it to get dark enough for the fireworks.
Pictures of families if you can get them all together.
Trying to get five kids together at the same time for a picture, is a funny thing... Here's 3 1/2 (Ashlyn is hiding her face.)
And one with Austin. Ta-da! That's about as good as it gets unless it's scheduled and even then, I think I'd need backup. Jason says it's like herding cats! Haha!
