I was sad to see my family leave the day before Thanksgiving, but knew they needed to get back. Jeff wasn't able to come to Utah with the, so they wanted to make sure they were home to spend Thanksgiving together.
I got a text from Jen the night before Thanksgiving saying they had hit a deer on the freeway and were stuck in Nevada. There wasn't a rental car company anywhere near by, so Jason and I picked up a car from the airport and drove it out to them so they could get home. My dad's van had to be towed to Salt Lake to get fixed, which meant he had to stay a few more days!! I felt so bad about the car, but so excited to get my dad for a little while longer!! I love having my dad here!
We spent Thanksgiving at Janelle's house with my extended family who lives around here or who came to visit the family that lives around here. :-).
I have so much to be Thankful for!
